Welder/Fabricator - We are a custom fabrication shop. We deal in high end homes for custom metal railings and other fabrications. We fabricate a large variety of commercial projects as well, so the work preformed is something that is new with each project. With this variety there are times that getting out of the shop and in the field in the SF area may happen. We are looking for motivated individuals that can interdependently work to completion project in any form.

Scope of Position

  • Ability to properly utilize various measuring tools: tap measures, angle finders, levels, squares and more
  • Ability to properly use hand tools: grinders, drills, various hand held saws, hammer drill, impact and more
  • Ability to use light machinery: Drill press, iron workers, punch press, large band saws, upright band saw. Shear and Press breaks a plus.
  • Candidate with GMAW and GTAW experience in aluminum and/or steel a plus.
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Ability to operate a fork-lift and an overhead crane

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
