Title: Consulting Manager, ERP / Finance & Accounting
Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 6 months
Travel: 10 - 30%
Rate: Up to $100/hr, depending on experience
Job Description: Company located in Denver, CO has an immediate need for a Senior Consulting Manager for a contract to hire position. Seeking a candidate with the ability to:
- Facilitate a group of 12-15 people to interactively map processes and define pain points
- Quickly understand the business culture and process issues that that are deemed a risk to a successful business system implementation
- Identify business functional areas that require a deep dive while facilitating requirement workshops and ask the essential questions
- Translate client-specific needs and document precise, articulate business system requirements for the client and potential software vendors
- Drive and facilitate Executive strategy meetings
- Drive consulting engagements (e.g., strategy definition, software selection, system implementation) to completion, including generation and review of project deliverables, with minimal oversight
- Drive and facilitate Executive strategy meetings
- Drive small- to medium-sized consulting engagements (e.g., strategy definition, software selection, system implementation) to completion, including generation and review of project deliverables, with minimal oversight
- Lead engagements AND pay attention to detail and deliver high quality deliverables
- Develop relationships with client personnel at operational levels, earning their trust and confidence
Note: No technical resources, please. This is a strategic and business consulting surrounding enterprise systems, not technical software related.
Required:
1) 10 years working in operations with ERP systems in Finance & Accounting Companies
2) 5 years consulting with organizations on business system strategy, help with ERP selections and implementations
Desired:
1) Equivalent experience in a consulting/professional services organization 'implementing' ERP systems (ANY) for manufacturing and distribution
2) OCM (organizational change management) & BPM (business process management) experience a huge plus
3) Experience with M&A and post-merger activities a huge plus
4) Big 4
