The Junior Relationship Manager will be a key member of a Payments Operations team, working alongside underwriting, risk and product teams to execute and support our global payments strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Focus
Works closely with Partner Relations to facilitate and foster new relationships, perform training, provide materials, and assist with submissions
Develops and nurtures internal and external relationships
Responds quickly with accurate information or follow-up expectations
Proactively understands needs and concerns of merchants and agents
Lives our vision and deepens relationships by championing accounts and relationships through the on-boarding process
Managing Time & Priorities
Strong time management; focuses efforts on important priorities
Uses workplace tools, technology or personal methods to keep track of priorities and assignments
Optimize payments operation, reliability, quality, cost of payment methods and relationships using rigorous, data-driven performance evaluations
Maximize current partnerships through detailed and proactive account management, working with partners to define, iterate, stabilize and enable new initiatives and products
Collaborate with partners to improve points of failures, resolve partner incidents, document processes and drive accountability / performance against contracted service levels
Research and analyze industry trends and opportunities to further distinguish its positioning and payments products
Identifying a strategic partnership between businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of partner or relationship management experience preferred
1+ years of relevant work experience in the payments space preferred
Strong administrative background with effective communication via both email and phone
Moderate understanding of common payment processing sales channels (Retail, Restaurant, eCommerce, MOTO, CDP)
Basic understanding of Underwriting and Risk job functions
Basic understanding of common equipment and gateways
Basic understanding of TSYS processing platforms and pricing structures preferred, but not required
Basic knowledge of the merchant on-boarding process, from sales to deployment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate degree with a strong preference towards operations or business administration.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
