About the role
As an Endpoint Management Engineer at Quantum Health, you will be in the critical role of ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our endpoint devices. You will be responsible for managing the operations of both the Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune platforms.
In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing endpoint management policies, automation, and reporting capabilities. Your expertise in endpoint management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, and JAMF will be essential for the success of our endpoint management efforts.
What you’ll do
- Overseeing the daily operations of both the Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune platforms.
- Crafting and implementing Endpoint Management (SCCM/MDM) policies and administrative procedures, including the setup of authentication and conditional access requirements.
- Demonstrating proficiency in application packaging and deployments.
- Leveraging expertise in PowerShell scripting for the creation of automation solutions and interfacing with APIs and systems.
- Showcasing your skill in efficiently executing multifaceted software and patch deployments through SCCM and the Intune platform.
- Cultivating a deep understanding of the SCCM platform's architecture and its constituent components, enabling the identification and resolution of issues across all architectural levels.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft security patching deployments and the associated reporting processes.
- Functioning as a subject matter expert for endpoint management, providing escalated support and troubleshooting for complex endpoint issues.
- Focusing on end user experience and anticipating business needs to adapt endpoint solutions as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture
- Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Related certifications: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, JAMF Associate
- Experience with Active Directory, Databases, Virtualization, and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Expertise in endpoint management tools and technologies (SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
- Expertise in supporting/troubleshooting operating systems including Windows 10/11, and/or MacOS.
- Knowledge of computer networking and associated protocols
- Proficient with a scripting language such as PowerShell
- Ability to prioritize work and work under minimal supervision.
