The senior enrichment program at Mill Manor is designed to enhance the lives of those entrusted to our care by providing enjoyable, engaging, and therapeutic activities. Ideal candidates should have a congenial demeanor and have a professional mindset. Experience in healthcare or related human services field is preferred.
As the activities assistant you will be responsible for implementing the activities calendar, lead programs, play games, and conduct crafts to ensure that residents are entertained and stimulated. This position will have responsibility for coordinating visitation amongst residents and guests. Communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as basic documentation and computer skills to excel in this position. Primary working hours are day shifts with flexibility to work weekend shifts. This position will be full time, 32 hours per week on average; local candidates are encouraged to apply.
