• Job Title: Security Architect
• Position Overview: The Security Architect shall lead information technology security initiatives, identify security issues and provide solutions and mitigations, and train, mentor, and lead other security positions to improve the overall security of the Agency. This position will evaluate existing security strategies. The Security Architect will verify the security of the systems and maintain compliance with changing system configurations and security requirements.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Security Architect including prior experience designing and implementing public sector healthcare system implementation security projects
• Relevant certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise security architecture, including security controls, frameworks, and standards, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling exercises to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities in existing and proposed systems and applications.
• Collaborate with IT teams, software developers, and business stakeholders to integrate security requirements into the design, development, and deployment of systems and applications.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to address emerging threats and mitigate security risks across the organization.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and security control matrices, to support compliance and audit requirements.
• Provide guidance and expertise to project teams on security-related matters, ensuring adherence to security policies, standards, and guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
