The ideal candidate will be expected to design (architect), develop, and implement complex digital signal processing algorithms. This position will be responsible for digital signal processing capability development for real time processing, focusing on data analysis, algorithm architecture, and performance evaluation in the seismic acoustic domains. A Digital Signal Processing Engineer will work on designing and developing robust algorithmic software that can be scaled to multiple platforms for functionality and performance. DSP Engineers must be able to work within a team to drive the architecture of the core distributed signal processing development.
SPECIALITY:
Signal processing algorithm development and implementation in standard computer programming languages and hardware.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience with many different Digital Signal Processing domains: Radar, Sonar, RF, Audio and Image Processing, as well as active and passive modalities is desirable. In addition, having experience with digital signal processing with real-time processing and parallel processing using GPUs (CUDA API) is desirable.
Using this extensive knowledge, the candidate will apply the most applicable techniques to a complex problem.
