Job Description
Quardev is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a direct-hire, full-time, on-site role with our branded apparel client based in Robbinsville, NJ. Do you have mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems experience working in a large distribution center? Do you enjoy ensuring system stability, scale, and performance? The ideal candidate for this role has experience working with warehouse teams, DC leadership and systems vendors, working to keep systems up and running 100% of the time. Responsibilities:
Maintain facility systems, replacing and repairing individual system components as needed
Review system diagrams and technical documents, troubleshoots systems
Supports Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and automated systems rollouts
Leads maintenance training programs, updates training manuals
Complies with all applicable laws and regulatory rules, maintaining system maintenance records
Responds to customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues as they happen
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or experience maintaining material handling systems
1-3 years experience in a Maintenance Engineer role, working in distribution centers
Conveyor belt systems maintenance experience
Experience completing and maintaining the client's Lift Operator Certification
Adapts to change easily and quickly
Must have functional and technical customer support skills
Human Machine Interface control systems experience
Comfortable communicating and working with a wide variety of audiences
Able to proactively identify and communicate recommendations, ensuring system reliability
Enjoys a fast-paced, high-volume, and sometimes hectic environment
Able to lift up to 60 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods of time, perform repetitive motions
Strong verbal, reading and writing English skills
Ability to work in typical warehouse conditions
Ideal candidate is able to travel to support other client distribution centers
Able to work off hours shifts when needed
