Role and Responsibilities The Service Manager is responsible for managing the company's propane and fuel technicians. Including technician scheduling, training, procedures, safety and compliance program management.
Job Duties
Manage company propane and fuel technicians' schedules for service work and tank sets Create and manage processes and procedures for work order management and service billing rates Maintain inventory of propane and fuel tanks and related equipment and requisition of parts and instruments Manage Service Technicians training program to maintain required certifications and safety. Manage the company compliance programs for propane tanks inspections and cathodic testing Assist in hiring of Service Technicians Performs additional duties as needed Skills Strong Leadership Skills, Team Player, Quality and Service Focus, Problem Solving, Understanding of Software Systems, and the ability to work effectively across organizational lines to achieve results. Experienced leader who can build and develop a high performance team. Education and Functional Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and five (5) plus years of relevant propane and fuel technician management experience Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and data analysis skills Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of DOT regulations required Acceptable driving record Additional Notes Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
