Nursing Staff Educator - Now Hiring

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking to share their knowledge and take their career to the next level as our Team Development Coordinator on our Nursing Leadership Team!

Currently offering a $4000 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Works with Management Team to make decisions regarding all educational needs of the community.
• Schedules and monitors annual training requirements for all Community staff using online learning software
• Participates in the bi-weekly General Orientation program for all Community new hires.
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring decisions for all Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aide students and other related interviews, as requested.
• Conducts Nursing Classroom Orientation for all RNs, LPNs, and CNAs  as well as coordinates the on the floor training.
• Facilitates and participates in Nurse Aid Training classes/process, including scheduling, clinicals, registration, and certification testing schedules
• Works with Graduated Nurse Aides after the CNA class to gain independence to a full assignment.
• Handles all assigned administrative duties, tracking, audits, evaluations and reviews as assigned by the DON or Administrator
• Serves in an “On-Call Weekend Manager” capacity on a routine, rotating schedule.
• Makes rounds and assists with nursing duties, as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license
• At least 5 years of Long-term care experience
• Current CPR Certification
