About the team & Opportunity:
The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer role provides operational oversight, support, and technical expertise for the Enterprise server tier and application tier. The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will provide day to day support to Quartet’s application and business customers, while delivering on project activities within agreed timelines, provide guidance and direction to support teams, as well as other areas of IT within the greater Quartet organization.
This role will also participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure job scheduling, efficiency, capacity management, system performance, disaster recovery, high availability, and maintenance.

Accountabilities:
- Partner with Application teams to support Quartet’s business platforms and assorted enterprise toolsets, providing technical support for application and business customers
- Principal RTE/BAU support for Quartets Core Platform operation, support escalation, troubleshooting system and server errors. Performs resolution of complex hardware, environmental software operating systems and subsystems as part of critical incident response and remediation.
- Coordinates enterprise Standard Maintenance activities to include Server support and ensure Quartet’s standards for Business Readiness are met.
- Provide proactive system performance monitoring and resolution of alerts for organization's server assets, as well as performing preventative maintenance and daily health checks reducing system downtime.
- Partners with other internal infrastructure engineers to perform operational support and project activities and reporting to system owners and stakeholders.
- Performs change management using standard tools. Ensures conformance and compliance with existing system standards. Measures performance to ensure proper operation and successful deployment.
- Trains technical staff on use of software/hardware tools in accordance with required standards and procedures.
- Participate in after hours critical production support as required.On call support will be required for this role.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience providing technical support and delivery of large projects working with stakeholders from business, development and infrastructure teams.
- Extensive knowledge of Enterprise technology environments.
- Demonstrated support experience with Linux operating systems
- Demonstration of thorough understanding of how discrete infrastructure components work together in an Enterprise environment
- Experience working with Cloud technologies, including AWS.
- Understanding of security concepts and how they impact functional areas required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Windows Administrator or Architect certification
- Linux or equivalent Linux Administrator certification
- ITIL Certification or experience working in an ITIL environment
