Quality Intellectual Disability Professional

Queens Centers for Progress, a not-for-profit agency providing services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Quality Intellectual Disability Internal Auditor/Trainer

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Quality Intellectual Disability Internal Auditor/Trainer works closely with employees, coaching and training, to maintain and improve excellent quality standards in the execution of their job responsibilities.

DUTIES:

· Develop and maintain training programs to meet each program’s need, in compliance with state and federal regulations

· Design and monitor computer tracking system for training and other agency wide compliance issues

· Assist in program audits and follow-up with training issues identified through noted deficiencies

· Assist in investigations and subsequent training as needed

· Maintain a liaison with outside governing agencies by attending committee meetings, training and conferences as needed

· Provide agency wide training as needed

· Provide technical assistance to each program as needed

· Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS Degree required. Minimum one year of experience working in OPWDD programs required. Successful candidates should have good writing, communication and interpersonal skills. Must have training experience and knowledge of OPWDD rules and regulations.

· Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM and additional hours as needed
