Job Duties:
- Data entry of test orders.
- Sort, pick up, and deliver processed specimens to the laboratory.
- Identifies problems and in some cases, resolves issues with specimens, such as missing information, etc.
- Research test ordering information on translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
- Specimen handling preferred.
- Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
