The Support Analyst/Developer I will be a critical part of our team as we embark on a digital transformation of how we engage with our customers, employees, and business partners. We are looking for an individual who is looking for their next challenge and wants to drive change across our entire customer-facing technology stack. This individual will dig into assigned incidents and will act to quickly address. This person will be instrumental in ensuring standards and process around incident and problem management are followed. Making sure that issues are being resolved within established SLAs and consistently looking for trends and root cause.
The right candidate will analyze and develop solutions to assigned incidents or enhancements. Lack of documentation will not be a problem, as this person will enjoy the challenge of solving a problem. Once resolved, what they learn will be documented for knowledge transfer to other team members.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for the successful resolution of simple, complex, routine, and non-routine incidents
- Through the direction of the Application Stability Lead will design and develop timely solutions
- Will be responsible for reviewing tickets and determining trends and root cause
- Will support the creation of leadership reports to better understand trends and categories of issues.
- Will personally leverage development skills to code solutions or needed enhancements.
- Will be responsible for ensuring that Data Releases needed by our Systems are implemented on time
- Will ensure that partner team members with Subject Expertise are providing knowledge transfer to the stability team, taking the opportunity to document areas that may not be documented.
- Will constantly ask, “How can we make things better?”
- Will interface with stores, support teams and business to properly resolve incidents or deliver enhancements.
- Will ensure quality solutions/code is delivered on time and with a target of zero defects.
- Will be measured and held accountable for individual performance on a periodic basis. # of defects to not exceed !% of # of pull request.
Experience and Credentials
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1-2 years of software development experience
- Experience handling production incidents and designing solutions to quickly address using long term and strategic deliverables
- Ability to review complex undocumented systems to understand how they work – documenting yourself along the way
- Background in OOP, Object, and data modeling
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java, VB.net, C#
- Proficiency with server-side frameworks such as Spring Boot
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring
- You feel comfortable writing software in one or more programming languages.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and commercial product development practices
- Must have the ability to work in an agile development environment
- Ability to learn and leverage Open-Source packages for common capabilities (e.g., log4j, Quartz, ActiveMQ)
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring MVC, spring boot and hibernate / JPA
- Strong communication Skills

- You are not afraid to learn new things and dive into systems that may lack proper documentation, requiring code crawling, debugging, and working with SMEs.
- You can work well both independently and as a team member.
- You will collaborate with partner teams in defining a delivery and come to the table with ideas that may have not been specifically requested for the betterment of a solution.
- You will collaborate with other engineers and ensure best engineering practices are followed in software development.
- Familiarity with 360 commerce/ Oracle Retail point of Sale (ORPOS) a plus
