Our Garland Facility is now hiring Machine Operators.
All positions are Full-time Direct Hire - 100% Employer Paid Insurance

Purpose:
Purpose: This position is responsible to operate multiple equipment and perform duties in various critical positions within the assigned department, the machine operator is to follow all standard operating procedures regarding safety guidelines, machine minor maintenance and cleanliness.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Safely operate and maintain assigned machine/equipment in adherence with training procedures and safety policies
- Escalate issues that impact the manufacturing/assembly of windows to immediate supervisor and or Team Lead and incoming shift when necessary
- Follow safety procedures and practices across the facility
- Take breaks at designated times and do not leave the area before the horn sound
- Keep area safe, clean, and organized
- Provide support and train other team members as instructed
- Assess product quality and make minor adjustments to equipment to meet quality standards
- Identify problems, communicate, provide input, and assist in resolution
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of product, processes and customer expectations
- Learn and understand Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Perform other related duties as required to meet customer and production requirements
- Maintain good attendance and be punctual
- Follow all instructions to operate assigned machine/equipment or perform duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
- 3 to 5 years machining experience
- Ability to read calipers, tape measure
- Communication English skills oral and written
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills including the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must successfully complete training and obtain certification in assigned area
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive environment
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically may weigh up to 50 lbs
