Overview: We are seeking a skilled Title Examiner to join our team. As a Title Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research and examination of property titles to ensure accuracy and legality. This is a crucial role in the real estate industry that requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures. Duties: - Review and analyze property records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, maps, and other documents to determine ownership and legal status - Conduct title searches to identify any potential issues or discrepancies - Examine property titles for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations - Collaborate with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to resolve title-related issues - Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to title examination - Maintain accurate records of all examined titles and related documentation Skills: - Strong knowledge of loan officer procedures and practices - Familiarity with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations - Understanding of FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines for title examination - Proficiency in basic math skills for calculations related to credit analysis and underwriting - Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in title examination - Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues or discrepancies in property titles - Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the real estate process - Prior experience in financial services or loan origination is preferred If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of title examination procedures and regulations, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $31,200.00 - $37,500.00 per year
