What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at QUICK INTERNATIONAL COURIER?
Manage and monitor general customer orders and inquiries and ensuring compliance with all agreed company policies.
To ensure that the needs of Specialty Logistics customers are being satisfied consistently and that excellence in customer service is promoted throughout the organization.
To work collaboratively with Operations and Sales Management to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Provide shipment-specific processing and timely communication of order updates
- Escalate all client issues to the management team as required.
- Ensure accuracy of shipment documentation, routing and compliance with all government regulations and Specialty Logistics Standard Operating Procedures.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service and productivity
- Good working knowledge of all Enterprise Systems
particularly:
*All CS-related functions
*Specialty Logistics email program to include client email / contact group information updates.
- Assist Sales as required or directed by Specialty Logistics local management team
- To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the management team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Understand and embrace the company mission by providing the highest
quality global transportation and logistics services for our customers
- Ensure compliance with all required training certifications
- Reliability and Dependability (primary)
- Computer proficiency (MS Office or related programs essential)
- Ability to learn and retain Quick Specialty Logistics operational system information
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work successfully under pressure
- Decision-making ability
- Flexibility- must be able to work off hour schedules (ie, other than 9-5 Mon to Fri) as well as some holidays when requested.

Desirable experience (preferred but not required):
- Air Courier or Freight Industry background preferred
- Client interaction and problem solving skills
- Background in health care or Biopharmaceutical industry
- Customer Service in related industries.
Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport
Qualifications:
- Preferred – Associate Degree or higher, or minimum of 2 years of Desirable experience
- IT / Computer literacy qualifications
- Must demonstrate excellent written and oral English skills
- Fluency in second language desirable but not required.
