Supervisor, Quality Control (2nd shift)

Quidel is searching for a Supervisor, Quality Control at our new Carlsbad manufacturing facility. This facility will be moving to a 4 day work week, 10 hours per day schedule in the near future. This role will be scheduled to work Sunday to Wednesday. The Supervisor of Quality Control is responsible for supervising the QC Technicians / Inspectors and coordinating department activities to ensure adherence to manufacturing schedules.  Responsible for ensuring proper data analysis and parametric review of DHR and test data prior to lot release.  Also responsible for overseeing and coordinating testing of the company’s RO/ DI water system.  Utilizes excellent prioritization skills to facilitate and coordinate daily activities of direct reports.
