The mission of the Role :
The core mission of the role is to ensure that the students/trainees receive all the necessary support, coaching, and mentorship required to be successful in the training program, interviews, and on the job.
Responsibilities :
- Resume and Profile Development Ensure candidates' resumes and 1-page slider profile reflect the best of the candidates' skills (and keywords) as well as highlight the most relevant information for the job. Assist candidates in building and maintaining a professional LinkedIn profile
- Interview Coaching Train on etiquette, body language, confidence, preparation, etc. Reduce anxiety for students & graduates around their job search through clear communication
- Mentorship Provide holistic one-on-one and group coaching and be the point of contact during training and on hire. Help students identify their personal goals to best impact their job search & educational experience
- Network Leverage internal and external contacts to assist the trainee during the training and job search process
- Enforce and Remediate Enforce Quintrixs and industry best-practice for the training and interviewing process. Identify gaps in the candidate's performance. Work on remediations and escalate and red-flags
- Content Creation - Work with L&D teams that are responsible for curriculum to highlight updates as needed and create new student-facing resources.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Past Experience working as a career coach in the IT Training space
- Knowledge of roles and responsibilities in technology skills like Software Engineer, SDET, RPA, Scrum, Cloud Technologies, etc.
- Energy and drive to be resourceful to a large volume of students and their needs
- A strong balance of empathy with counseling/coaching skills
- Soft skills instruction is a plus
- Experience working with new graduates and younger trainees is a plus
- Strong with Excel and PPT
- Experience presenting, educating, and engaging
- Passion for helping others succeed in their careers
