Automotive Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Able to maintain a high level of CSI
- Interacting with and managing a staff of technicians
- Interacting with external vendors
- Fulfilling all service activities needed to meet or exceed operating plan goals
- Implementing and maintaining effective reconditioning processes and flows
- Maintain effective vehicle production and inventory control
- Managing technician productivity
- Maintain safety standards
Automotive Service Manager Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendor partners.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- At least 2 years of automotive management
- Experience with implementing structured business processes
- A hard-working can-do attitude, able to motivate teams
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills
