Barista / Receptionist

Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and Television studios is now in need of a Full Time Barista / Receptionist to join our North Valley team! This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and will operate the coffee bar. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and multi-tasking abilities within a fast-paced environment.

Job* duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Welcome and connect with every client immediately. Help them navigate the facility.
- Consistently prepare the highest quality coffee and espresso drinks to ensure the highest quality product is being served to our clients
- Anticipate client needs - greet by name and know "their usual"
- Conduct inventory during shift, purchase necessary items, and stock accordingly
- Complete all side work before the close of a shift
- Collaborate with Studio Coordinator to continuously create new products or an improved technique to service our clients
- Keep coffee bar and lobby clean, organized, and neat
- Answer / transfer calls to the appropriate department(s)
- Organize incoming mail / packages per production
- Follow cash handling/register operation policies
- Positively contribute to the standards of our culture and core values with every client interaction
- Engage as part of the studio operations team
- Communicate necessary information to the Studio Coordinator and team members before the close of a shift
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean work environment
- All other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Abilities:
- 2 years work experience in a retail/customer service environment
- 1 year barista experience
- Passionate about providing legendary service to each and every coffee bar client
- Ability to multi-task in a bustling and small work space
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, and think logically and methodically when problem solving
- Clearly communicate with clients and team members
- Ability to learn quickly
- Travel to retail store by foot or car to purchase items for coffee bar
- Must be FLEXIBLE and available to work our weekday shift (7:00 am to 4:00 pm) and/or weekend shift (typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), but will range depending on production's schedule); all shifts are subject to change depending on the needs of the business and production's schedule
- May have to fill in at our Griffith Park and West Hollywood locations as needed
