Responsibilities:
- Maintain an upbeat attitude
- Answering calls and scheduling the appointments
- Familiar with dog breeds and types of haircut
- Receiving visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Take responsibilities, follow the schedules, arrive at work on time.
- Calm an anxious dog
- Ensure company policies are being followed
- Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
- Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
- Willing to learn or has experience on the scheduling software.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 year experience as a bather
- Ability to work with other groomers
- Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
- Calming presence to soothe dogs
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to pass a background check
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work on a team
- Experience in customer service (Reception, appointment booking, sales, etc.)
- Experience in cat handling is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
