The F&I Accounting Processor reviews all customer files to ensure that all paperwork is in good order as well as updating the status in the Dealership DMS. The F&I Accounting Processor will also scan documents for archiving and transmittal to lenders.

The ideal candidate has dealership finance and insurance experience. He or she has a positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, strong business acumen, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Computer skills required for this position are high to advanced.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Sales Managers & Sales Associates to obtain financing through lenders on vehicle purchases in conformance with state and federal law
  • Assists in preparation of all state and federal documents regarding vehicle purchases in a timely manner and in accordance with established laws and procedures
  • Maintains good working relationships with lending institutions to ensure that documents are received in good order for fast funding
  • Works with the Sales and Accounting teams to ensure best practices for all documentation and workflow
  • Understands and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality
