Terminal Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Manage daily operations, workflow processes, and warehouse inventory
- Recruit for & manage dedicated carrier teams
- Ensure terminal is performing efficiently and meeting customer expectations
- Resolve operational issues in an efficient, fair and expeditious manner
- Manage the operations budget, profit and loss objectives, internal metrics and key performance indicators
Terminal Manager requirements include the following.
- Minimum two years final mile delivery experience
- Functional understanding of P&L statements
- Experience managing and training direct reports
- Experience recruiting and managing contracted carriers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Office
- Excellent organization skills as well as being a detail-oriented self-starter
- Travel as needed
