What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at R.B. Hinkle Construction?
Project Coordinator should be able to fulfill various duties and responsibilities. They should be able to work closely with project managers/foremen to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects. Project Coordinators perform various coordinating duties such as scheduling and risk management. Follows assigned work orders provided by the Gas Group Foreman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to communicate with Foreman and Crew Leader.
- Adheres to the company’s core values and cultural norms.
- White lines jobs.
- Fills out the required paperwork for Miss Utility tickets.
- Takes pictures for all jobs.
- Talks to all customers prior to the production crew arrival.
- Responds to emergency after hour’s phone calls and meets with customers as needed.
- Assists with customer complaints’ resolution.
- Ensures property is left clean, and neat upon completion of the work, as found prior to the start of the project.
- Ensures equipment, supplies, and vehicles are properly handled, organized and maintained.
- Have the ability to use all tools in a safe manner.
- Reports any safety issues to the Foreman and Safety Department immediately.
- Completes paperwork and other documents as required by company policies and procedures.
- Reports any equipment malfunction to the Foreman.
- Reports any customer problems or damages to the Foreman.
- Teaches and directs others as needed.
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
- Experience in similar position is highly desirable.
- At least three years of previous construction experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written and communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.
