Where we need you

Under the direction of the Production Manager supports department efforts to assure continuous operation of product manufacturing by performing the following duties personally or through department production employees.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

• Understand all aspects and operating parameters of the machine
• Understand the water system, dryers and loaders
• Perform set-up / changeover
• Prepare and install all dies and spreader blocks
• Prepare all resin mixes
• Start-up and Shut-Down of all machinery
• Clean hoppers, dies, ovens, saws and other equipment
• Accurately complete all reporting paperwork
• Identify, measure, and label acceptable finished product
• Produce finished product within specification

Various machine operator positions are available from entry level to advance.

• Press Operator
• Ram Extrusion Operator
• Sheet Extrusion Operator
• Susta Extrusion Operator

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Valid driver’s license
• The employee is required to be able to operate a forklift, scales, and department production equipment
