Job Posting for CAD Designer/Drafter at R&D Engineering, LLC
Responsibilities and Duties
The Designer/Drafter shall:
Produce engineering drawings and design layouts using design and modeling software with specifications from project and industry standards
Analyze models, design, and drawings, and make recommendations for modifications and improvements
Consult with other departments and/or vendors to assure feasibility of manufacturing products or components
Be competent in the use of various measuring and test equipment in order to perform as-builts of existing equipment
Be expected to effectively and professionally communicate, verbally and in written form, with management, customers, vendors and other co-workers in order to perform the duties of this position
Constantly strive to improve design efficiency while maintaining a timely delivery date
Complete designs based on customer specifications and needs
Review co-workers drawings for markups
Complete fabrication prints that adhere to the company drafting standard
Must have great attention to detail and strive for perfection
Education
Bachelor or Associate Degree
Experience
Experience in the oilfield and related industries
Must be proficient in SolidWorks
Job Type: Full-time
