R L Carriers is currently seeking a Collections Specialist (remote position) out of our Abilene, TX Service Center. The Collections Specialist position will be responsible for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of collection techniques, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Review multiple billing queues to determine credit, authorize collect shipments and identify necessary billing changes.
  • Coordinate necessary billing changes with Corrections.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts for resolution assistance as needed.
  • Taking driver and customer calls
  • Taking credit card payments
  • Answering phones
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be professional, self-motivated, energetic, and have excellent attendance.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be result-oriented and solution-driven.
