We are currently searching for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team.
(Formerly known as Thomas Engineering Company was founded in 1962) Now called R&M High Speed Stampings. Our 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing building is located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. We specialize in high-quality, close-tolerance micro-miniature top medium sized metal stampings and assemblies to a wide range of industries and markets. We offer rapid prototyping, tool design and construction, ranging from simple stamping dies to complex progressive stamping and forming dies.

What is a Maintenance Technician?
A Maintenance Technician is a skilled professional responsible for the routine and non-routine maintenance of manufacturing and process equipment at a site. This role demands a combination of mechanical and electrical expertise, with a problem-solving mindset to identify and repair equipment issues promptly. Maintenance Technicians perform machine setups for production, execute scheduled preventive maintenance, and diagnose troubleshooting during production. They must uphold good work habits, prioritize plant safety, and work with a sense of urgency. Additionally, adherence to company safety policies, maintenance of good housekeeping, and a commitment to ongoing education in maintenance concepts contribute to the effectiveness of a Maintenance Technician.
In this role, you will:
Repair all production and plant equipment
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production
Observes all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping
Machine Setups for Production Runs
To succeed in this role, you must:
Have an understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and commitment to continuing education
Have a general knowledge of building maintenance
Possess good work habits and practice plant safety
Must be able to accurately and efficiently perform all job duties with a sense of urgency
Candidate must have a mix of both mechanical and electrical experience - and mindset to go where the problem is, troubleshoot it, and find the tools to repair it
