Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing general ledger reconciliations, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks , and a solid understanding of financial concepts.

Duties:

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the books and A/R and A/P.
  • You will be working closely with our management team in order to maintain A/R and A/P.
  • Efficiently process vendor invoices and ensure accurate timely payments
  • Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Pay monthly sales taxes
  • Conduct all bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Provide monthly financial reports to respective property owners
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets
  • Prepare year end financials for executive review
  • Process tenant payments. This includes collecting rent, deposits, late fee charges, and maintenance payments
  • Allocate utility expenses to tenant ledgers, according to their proportionate share
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Create weekly financial reports
  • Manage A/R by sending invoices and following up with clients
  • Record Keeping Qualifications•
  • very experienced with Excel, Word and quickbooks software
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports
  • Assist with account analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations

Skills:
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
- Solid understanding of financial concepts
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
