Element Bars is an SQF certified contract manufacturer of food bars. We are devoted to creating a bar that meets taste and texture preferences, and the desired nutritional profile. We create whole food bars in accordance with food certifications and dietary requirements including Organic, Non GMO, and Gluten Free. We are GMP certified with HAACP Protocol. We have the capacity to produce over 1,000,000 bars per month for customers.
We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Quality Associate who will assist the Quality Coordinator in executing the Company’s Food Safety & Quality Program. Time will be split roughly 50/50 between records maintenance and real-time production line monitoring & inspection.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Quality Associate who will assist the Quality Coordinator in executing the Company’s Food Safety & Quality Program. Time will be split roughly 50/50 between records maintenance and real-time production line monitoring & inspection.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with production Quality Technicians to ensure documented processes are followed to yield safe, quality products.
- Lead pre-operational verification, in-process verifications, and other line checks.
- Help resolve issues quickly, to minimize downtime in support of daily production goals.
- Verify & maintain production records related to daily HACCP and Prerequisite Programs
- Assist in daily, weekly, monthly inspections, verifications, and internal audits.
- Participate in 3rd-Party audit preparation and response.
- Gather documentation related to quality investigations.
- Report any potential food safety and quality issues.
- Interested in the pursuit of various Food Safety Quality (FSQ) certifications (paid training)
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to work 100% on-site (Chicago - West Side)
- Prefer experience in manufacturing environment.
- Food production experience a plus (but not required)
- Very organized and detail oriented
