ABOUT THE ROLE

Rêve Academy is seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join the organization as our Academic Excellence Manager. Our ideal candidate is passionate about our mission of serving students and has experience in leading innovative education programs and a proven track record of delivering educational outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Program + Curriculum Development (60%)

Curriculum:

  • Identify outcomes that build marketable digital competency and design content to meet those outcomes.
  • Create instructional materials, modules and associated lessons to drive digital curriculum for the Academy.
  • Research, outline and structure incremental curriculum modules to support Rêve Academy' mission - inclusive of advanced curriculum modules as required. 
  • Manage Reve Academy's strategy for mapping outcomes and standards for external partners (high school, college, credit recovery, etc.) 

Implementation:

  • Facilitate curriculum instruction for Reve Academy's on-site internship program.
  • Manage outreach to local schools, school districts and other organizations for partnership opportunities. 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships across key stakeholders (district, administrators, teachers, etc)
  • Design and facilitate engaging educator boot camps to transfer knowledge and prepare for success in partner schools/organizations.
  • Develop and implement a scalable process to coach and mentor educators to ensure successful implementation of programming. 

Program:

  • Develop scalable model for expanding Rêve Academy's academic programming, including:
    • Opportunities to expand outside of Minneapolis Public Schools 
    • Scalable curriculum delivery (Ex: Interactive learning modules to reach remote learners)
  • Consider and develop opportunities to monetize Rêve Academy's academic programming. 

Measurement + Accreditation (20%)​​​​​​​

  • Define measurement rubrics/outcomes and create tracking systems for all curriculum and programming
  • Measure and analyze quantitative and qualitative results to ensure quality, prove solutions and communicate impact. 
  • Manage and maintain national accreditation for Rêve Academy.

​​​​​Thought Leadership + Influence (20%)

  • Be a thought leader and influence others in driving new learning models.
  • Represent the Rêve Academy in academic conversations at the local, state and national level.
  • Seek out + learn new methodology in the areas of youth workforce readiness and digital skill development.
  • Contribute to Rêve brand and serve as Rêve Academy ambassador. 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Foundational belief that all kids can learn and succeed

  • Comfort with technology and interest in new innovative approaches to education
  • Team player, inspired by co-creation and energized by entrepreneurial environment

  • Detail oriented and process focused

YOUR EXPERIENCE  

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience (time in classroom a plus)
  • 2-5 years working in urban environment and/or program
