Job Description
This position will function as an experienced, highly skilled BA5.
The qualified Business Analyst (5) will:
- Take a lead role in managing a team of business analysts working on a major project to develop an online permitting system.
- Support the fundamental functions and business processes of the organization.
- Lead facilitated workshops and other creative methods for requirements analysis.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:
- 15 years’ deep experience in the analysis and documentation of business, functional and non-functional requirements
- 15 years’ experience effectively leading and managing diverse teams, including teams of business analysts and developers
- 10-15 years’ proven experience defining, managing, and launching new functionality/features across multiple, concurrent projects for complex software applications
- 10-15 years’ experience creating application prototypes and screen mockups and graphical representations of complex business processes, using wireframe and modeling tools
- 7-10 years’ experience writing clear and effective agile story cards, preferably using Agile methodology
- 7-10 years’ experience in analyzing data elements of enterprise applications; determining how the data elements relate to each other
- 10 years’ experience performing gap analysis “As-Is/To-Be” for large applications
Desired Skills/Time:
- Advanced experience in using Microsoft products, including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience with agile methodologies, including Azure
- DevOps Project management
- Microsoft Power BI Certification such as IIBA-certified Business Analyst or Certified Scrum Product Owner
