Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our team. The Banquet Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with company standards for banquets, catered events, and other special occasions.
Duties:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation of dishes
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Help in team management during events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or banquet cooking
- Knowledge of food handling, production, and culinary techniques
- Strong leadership skills to guide kitchen staff during events
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food industry standards and practices
