Powersports Sales Person
Position Summary:
· Above all provide customers with extraordinary service and respect
· Sell new and used units at dealership
· Responsible for growing customer satisfaction, volume, and profit, knowledgeable about lead management
· Sells by understanding and demonstrating unit characteristics, capabilities, and features, developing buyers, and closing sales
· Maintains a high level of communication with management and other departments
Position Responsibilities:
- Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, completing entire sales process including F & I and PG & A, collecting and processing payments
- Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot,
- Cultivate customer relationships to capitalize on opportunities and maximize success, educate customers about product features and benefits to aid in selecting best options for each individual’s needs
- Build strong rapport with customers, and maintain meaningful contact after the sale to encourage future business
- Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction. Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail use of Powersports sales
- Stays informed on competitive models and is able to compare and contrast benefits of Polaris to the competition
- Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
- Prospected and developed existing leads through telephone, email, and postal mail to generate new customer opportunities
- Learns and utilizes all company and manufacturers provided software including but not limited to the Client Relationship Management System (CRM)
- Attends product and sales training and sales meetings as requested by management
- Additional job duties may be assigned by management
Requirements:
· Strong attention to excellent customer service, detail, quality, and follow-up
· Highly professional and an excellent communicator, to include customers, co-workers, and vendors via in-person, telephone, and email interactions
· Positive attitude and strong team player
· Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
· Valid driver’s license
· Self-motivated ,willing to work during dealership’s hours of operations and occasional off-site events
