Chemical and Maintenance Apprentice

The Raceway Car Wash Company is an industry leader with 40 locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas. We are expanding and seeking to add a Chemical and Maintenance Apprentice to assist with the development and maintenance of Raceway’s corporate image and standards. Raceway hires driven leaders and puts them on the fast track to success.

A Raceway Car Wash Chemical and Maintenance Apprentice is a mechanical-minded individual with a desire to learn the ins and outs of car wash maintenance. He or she will accompany Raceway Maintenance Technicians on a variety of tasks including equipment repairs, site renovations, new builds, and preventative maintenance. A Chemical and Maintenance Apprentice will aspire to become a car wash expert to advance within the company. ❖ Assist Maintenance Technicians with daily maintenance related tasks.

❖ Learn how to diagnose and repair chemical and maintenance related issues.

❖ Learn the ins and outs of tunnel chemical distribution to assist in monitoring usage and providing an exceptional customer experience.

❖ Travel individually to all Nevada/Tahoe and Fresno locations, to ensure that all chemical applicators are clean, and within chemical usage standards.

❖ Render onsite and phone technical assistance to local store managers.

❖ Operate in a safe manner and must wear appropriate PPE as per published OSHA and

Company guidelines.

❖ Maintain tools, test equipment, and other Company materials and assets in a

professional manner.

❖ Report directly to the Facility and Maintenance Manager and Chemical Manager.

❖ Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
