Melody Hill Golf Club is a public 18-hole club in Harmony, RI. We've had several major renovations over the past few seasons, including a new irrigation installation (Toro Lynx system and a bunker renovation on 6 holes). We are planning the next phase of irrigation upgrades.

Duties of Grounds Staff

· Golf Course set up for daily member play (changing cups, moving markers, repairing divots, trash collection, etc.)

· Mowing of all turf; greens, tees, fairways, approaches, roughs

· Rolling Greens

· String Trimming

· Bunker maintenance

· Keeping the golf course clean and tidy; removal of sticks, branches, leaves, clippings etc.

· Assisting with hand watering during summer months

· Ability to safely operate motorized equipment

· Making sure maintenance facility is kept neat and orderly

· Landscape maintenance

Qualifications: None required! We will train you!
- Experience in groundskeeping or related field not mandatory but a plus
- Proficiency in mowing, using hand tools, and operating power tools a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and digging

Special Requirements

  • Candidate must have reliable transportation
  • Uniforms are provided and must be worn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
