What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Coach position at Racine County Opportunity Center?
Want to make a difference in someone's life by helping them succeed in their job? As a Job Coach, you will provide on-the-job supports to youth and adults with disabilities, in their work environment. The Job Coach will ensure the successful integration of consumers into community based jobs by teaching specific and non-specific tasks. Job Coaches are often found working in different work settings throughout the community.
This position is part-time, 28.5 hours/week. The position is flexible and can be a 4-day work week if needed. Office hours are 7:30am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, however, evening and weekend shifts may arise depending on consumer job needs.
Certificate or diploma beyond high school desired but very willing to train. Preferred college coursework and/or experience in human service field preferred. Written and communication skills are a plus! College students and intern students are urged to apply.
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, *pre-employment drug screen and have a good driving record.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
