RSi is seeking a Assistant QA Manager to join our team supporting our customer on Redstone Arsenal.

Position Description Summary

Serve as Quality Assurance Assistant for the US Army Ranger School Command UH 60 helicopter maintenance program.

Responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in creating, maintaining and implementing Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

Works to ensure 100% quality assurance in all aspects of maintenance

Ensures quality control programs are performed and documented in accordance with (IAW) AR 95-20 and AS9100.

Conducting internal program audits as assigned.

Responding to external Corrective Action Requests.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Education

Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems-Requirements, SAE-AS 9100 Quality Management Systems-Aerospace Requirements or other DoD approved quality system single process initiative (SPI).

Knowledge of AR 95-20.

Preferred Experience:

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification or Lead Auditor Certification, AS9100 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification.

Work Environment (office, lab, test stand etc):

Aircraft areas, workshops, and other industrial settings

Physical Requirements (ability to lift X amount of weight, sit or stand for long periods of time etc),:

Sit or stand for long periods of time.

Other Essential Functions:

Willing to work occasional night shift or adjusted hours.
