The Engineer will work side-by-side with clients, scientists, and engineers to:
- Understand complex Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) payloads
- Write research-level software scripts for problem solving and visualization
- Simulate EO/IR performance using current industry tools
- Analyze image formation processing and image processing algorithms
- Adapt existing engineering-level code to new sensors
- Characterize new sensors for R&D applications
