What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Manager position at Radiance Technologies, Inc.?
Radiance Technologies is looking for a self-driven, resourceful, and results oriented Safety Manager. The Safety Manager will: Sustain and manage Top Secret clearance in compliance with security protocols. Manages and maintain safety programs while ensure accountability for all team members Oversees and ensures the safety training programs is in 100% compliance Organize and conduct Safety Committee and various other safety related meetings Reports trend analysis upstream to Leadership team as well as communicate goals and expectations to all team members Provide enhanced training to supervisory team members Develop and implement safety recognition program Oversees on-boarding for new personnel including but not limited to: Emergency response training; OSHA certification, if needed; initial DFWP training, etc. Transport, or arrange directed transportation for, injured personnel to appropriate locations, i.e. emergency room, hospital, or drug testing location Conduct on-site incident investigations for any reportable accidents including but not limited to: equipment failures, personal injury, and motor vehicle accidents Required Skills: Active Top Secret Security Clearance Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple efforts and complete work within deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Five plus years of general industry safety experience Experience reviewing safety plans and procedures Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene regulations, standards, and best practices, including familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
