Screen Printer (6:00 am - 3:00 pm)

About this position: TheScreen Printer will work in conjunction with the production/assembly department and graphics department to perform duties essential for customer order completion, timeliness, and accuracy.

The ideal candidate for this position MUST know how to manually screen-print. To be considered for this opportunity you must have 2 years or more of manual screen-printer experience.

Days and Hours:

Monday – Friday

Times are 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examines work orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production time, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences.
• Screen preparation process including screen stretching, screen selection, degreasing, film-emulsion coating, exposure and wash out, as well as cleaning and reclaiming after printing.
• Selecting, mixing, and modifying ink for use in the process.
• Ability to print with repeatable results—and to anticipate, recognize and fix possible issues with the ink and machinery.
• Perform quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down the press for the next job.
• Set up print screen/pad print machine incl. loading & adjusting screens, adjustments, inking screens, squeegee selection & test printing.
• Simple art and design skills.
• Ability to work independently under his/her own initiative.
