- Responsible for extensive testing of new products and services within the Business Organization. Focusing on device testing (routers, switch, hardware, etc) Candidates are responsible for ensuring a quality customer experience as measured by a successful product launch by creating a detailed test plan based on a set of requirements for specific projects.
- The test plan must then be executed with precision to validate requirements, identify gaps, open any issues and follow through to confirm resolution. Candidates must also work with multiple teams to resolve issues and complete final validation.
- Own E2E testing strategy
- Build a comprehensive E2E testing strategy and scope. .
- Prepare for and become familiar with how to test the various elements of the product, and provide guidance on any test prerequisites (test software, field testing scope, lab requirements)
- Coordinate data points for testing.
- Actively participate in triage calls to isolate and prioritize defects.
- Where needed, execute user-based tests, record test results. Identify and track defects to full resolution using JIRA/qTest.
- Streamline issue tracking process
- Work with IT, Product, technology testing team to track and resolve issues and prioritize their severity.
- Assess product readiness and provide read out of results.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be self-motivated and have a great desire to achieve success on a high output team.
- Continuously demonstrated expertise in a working team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive task completion to meet customer requested due dates
- Proficiency with Google applications
- 7-10 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in test strategies and E2E quality and service assurance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or similar
- Six or more years of E2E testing, including front end (application) and back end (IT/OSS).
- Previous experience with device/equipment testing.
- Experience in using JIRA or qTest.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience on wireless products is a plus.
- Experience with hardware and software products test strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Ability to influence and drive change.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
