Position Title: Shipping and Receiving associate
Estimated hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm
Job Description
- Participates in Area safety, ergonomic, and housekeeping
- Participates in Continuous Improvement - Area 5S
- Interacts with customers and accepts daily deliveries
- Maintains electronic and manual shipping and receiving documents
- Delivers samples to the production laboratories several times per day
- Participates in the long term storage of client samples and determination of final disposition
- Communicates directly our local leadership team
- Performs all routine shipping and receiving tasks as needed, including proper packaging and labeling and storage of supplies and samples.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Ability to implement safe handling procedures for hazardous materials.
- Effective time management skills, organized and ability to exceed in a fast paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (CA DMV Class C)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs with the help of coworkers
- Must be able to climb ladders
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
