Job Posting for Systems Inspector at Radin Consulting, Inc.
Radin Consulting is looking for a full-time Systems Inspector to work on a Portal Bridge Project in the NY/NJ Metro Area. The Salary will be commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits are offered. All candidates must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Responsibilities
· Field supervision of bridge/civil construction operations
- Perform inspection in systems -- this includes at least one of the following categories: catenary, signals, communications, or track work.
- Document all work performed
- Work with the project team on ensuring quality and safety on the job site
- Oversee and coordinate inspection of work for compliance with plans, codes, standards as well as for compliance with schedules and deadlines
- Provide daily reports to senior management team
- Interface and coordinate with other project managers and project personnel
- Collaborate with other inspectors to provide comprehensive field supervision
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in construction systems, preferably with a focus and strength in at least one of the following categories: catenary, signals, communications, trackwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- PE is a big plus
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including off hours if/when required.
- Experience working in and around transit facilities a plus.
- Public sector experience is a big plus
- Site safety a priority
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
