This newly created executive position will oversee and manage our retail brands, digital marketing, 8 major categories, and own the aggregate P&L. The Chief Marketing Officer will need to either be in Knoxville, or open to relocation.

The Ideal candidate will: 

• Provide Leadership to bring together the Digital and Brand Marketing functions into one seamless marketing organization
• Oversee 8 major product categories and own the aggregate P&L
• Develop a portfolio strategy and oversee the development of a strategic plan for each category
• Build iconic brand equities and activations for all portfolio brands most urgently PetSafe and Invisible Fence
• Inspire and develop the next generation of Marketing talent
• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and help drive total company strategic plans
• Partner with key leaders to execute brands in retail partners and all media platforms

The ideal candidate is:

• Commercially minded but deeply passionate and experienced in crafting brand positions
• Equally capable building both top of funnel brand positionings and bottom of funnel performance marketing
• A builder who is motivated by creating something new and making (big) impact
• Strategic, long term focused
• A strong and confident leader who can develop next gen marketing leadership
• Highly experienced and literate in leading Digital marketing programs – both consumer targeted as well as across Ecommerce platforms. Preference is they will have spent time in both large and mid/small organizations.  
• Based in Knoxville, Tennessee at RSC Global headquarters
• Leading a team two VPs and several directors across numerous product categories and geographies
