Contract: 13 Week
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Job Summary:
Under general direction, the Training & Development Specialist (TDS) has three key responsibilities:
Ensure that technical and computer-based training is effective and useful.
Support ongoing clinical education and training with LMS management and clinical placement.
Provide communication support and review to include writing, editing, brand formatting, marketing, and publication assistance for abstracts, articles, presentations,and Department training.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as a key training development, delivery, and content resource
Provide final review for all publication materials pertinent to the Department of Clinical Education
Ensure appropriate on-boarding process and socialization for new employees to LMS/NNO
Oversight of patient/family education materials content
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications:-
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred in IT, business systems, training, organizational behavior, or organizational change.
-Minimum Experience:
3 years designing, developing implementing, and evaluating training (using adult learning principles) and providing on-going project management support with learning systems ( e.g., Oracle); at least 1 year of experience working with an LMS system OR clinical placement preferred.
One year experience training and support for continuing education and process development preferred.
Two years working with content authoring tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Jing and/or other content development tools preferred.
Previous experience working closely with/or training clinicians in a hospital or outpatient setting, or clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting as a Medical Assistant, Nurse, Therapist, or Physician is preferred.
