Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a Full-time Purchasing Coordinator to be part of our team. As the Purchasing Coordinator you coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services. Compile information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material for medical facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews/monitors requisitions as well as ordering patterns.
• Prepares purchase orders
• Reviews purchase orders for completeness and contacts requestor for more information if necessary. place orders for medical, office supplies, forms, and equipment, confirm prices, and establish/verifies delivery dates.
• Tracks all back orders. Contact vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
• Confirms delivery, quality/quantity of shipments for vendors.
• Remains accurate, organized, and efficient when keying data, maintaining records, and reviewing inventory transactions.
• Reviews and updates purchasing records using computerized software when needed
• Assists Accounts Payable with any invoice issues
• Other duties may be assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience is a plus
