The Shipping & Receiving Manager will be responsible to ensure optimized material handling, product flow to always achieve the highest OTD and inventory organization, while ensuring the safety of all employees and handling of products. Carry out transportation agreements and services, export controls and containment of freight expenses. Coordinates and supervises workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in the warehouse. Performs customer service function by coordinating and interacting with Internal and External customers to resolve shipping issues. Ensures inventory accuracy by coordinating with value streams. Maintains compliance with IATA, OSHA, DOT, cGMP’s, FAA, and FDA Guidelines. Major Responsibilities
Reduction of unplanned downtime through the implementation and sustainment of a facility-wide, culture changing, formalized Total Productive Maintenance program.
Development and execution of yearly prioritized risk reduction plans to reduce unplanned downtime and further expenses.
Lead security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
Key supportive role in the development and execution of next-generation equipment/facility planning in support of yearly business improvement goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery/Capacity and Efficiency.
Achievement of yearly employee engagement survey score improvements through focused support, development, and leadership of the team of responsibility.
Achieve yearly goals in the areas of maintenance request completion time, reduced unplanned facility downtime, and percentage of facility equipment with formal preventive maintenance programs in place and sustained through MPulse program.
Develop through a formalized “roadmap” to use computerized maintenance management systems to run and track maintenance and calibration tasks, as well as equipment downtime, to support equipment upgrades and new purchases.
Generate detailed written procedures (Standard Work with Visual Management) and specifications for calibration, maintenance, and equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Develop and lead the execution of the yearly Maintenance budget.
Provide active leadership to the annual Capital Budgeting process.
Seek out, lead, and improve internal customer feedback regarding maintenance support levels to continually improve internal customer satisfaction levels.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent experience
5 years validated experience in a similar role
Prior team management & supervision experience
Experience managing contractors and suppliers
Total Productive Maintenance/ Manufacturing (TPM) management experience including the utilization of maintenance/calibration management software
Experience with CMMS
Able to read, write and fluently communicate in English Desired Experience & Skills
Prior experience with using lean methodology and tools, such as variation reduction / 6-sigma and standard work
Work in a Medical (or other highly regulated) environment
Knowledge of MPulse Maintenance software
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
