Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate machine such as shears, cut off saws, brakes, punch press, form, oil and drill press, hydraulic expander to cut and shape components to specified dimensions.
- Forms production: parts involving curvatures, sharp angles, arvor deep draws, which result in severe forming to prc-heat and hot torm material as may be required.
- Assembles, forms, fits, positions, and aligns component parts in proper relation to each other where subassemblies require precise and difficult locating.
- Lays out trim lines, hole patterns, file contours and performs hand forming riveting, bolting, clamping, dimpling' and locating tack weld to build up subassemblies and assemblies.
- Keeps work area clean
- Performs all other tasks as may be assigned
- Trains other employees.
